I have been thinking for a while about taking Nathan on a camping trip and Ty's Communion meditation about a month ago inspired me; I have a lot of fond memories from my childhood as well. I see this as a good experience for Nate and give Samantha a break.
If other Dads would like to join it would be great. If this is something you are interested in but 1. do not have camping experience or 2. do not have camping gear, please do not let that stop you. Experience is not needed and I am sure we can find some equipment to borrow.
I am thinking of starting on a Friday evening. We can return on Saturday evening for Church on the Sunday or we could hold our own service and worship under the "cathedral of the trees." Exact plans to be determined.
